What really makes gardens grow? Well let me tell you the secret... it's "Miracle-Gro" All Purpose Plant Food. This little box of plant food made my garden look like it was taken care of by a dedicated professional. My vegetables grew into monstrous plants producing massive tomatoes, a plethora of peppers, and colossal kohlrabi; however it's not as easy as buying a box of plant food and calling it a day. I needed to make a trip to Stein's Gardens and Gifts and pick up a Garden Feeder, a Connector hose, along with a water faucet timer also. After I hooked the hoses and feeder together, I added the feed and let the water rip. Within 20 minutes I was taking care of my garden just like the pros do. For the remainder of the summer I have followed this regime at least 3 times , and suggest you do it also for a successful garden.
- Empty an 8oz packet of Plant Food into the Feeder.
- Adjust hose in garden to be at the base of all plants.
- Turn the water on and let it rip for about 20- 25 minutes.
- Repeat at least 3 times weekly.
